Valentine’s Sensory Bin
It’s been a while since I shared a sensory bin, and I’ve got quite a few sensory bin ideas swirling around in my head that I plan to put to use in the next few months. However, I’ve been drawing a blank for Valentine’s Day! So I took last year’s bin….
and added a few new items.
This year’s Valentine’s sensory bin contains:
- lima beans
- crystal pink and red hearts (vase filler type things)
- plastic heart containers
- rose petals (new)
- felt roses (new)
- varying sizes of red glitter hearts (new)
- small wooden pink and red hearts (new)
I could probably just set out a bin full of beans and The Littlest Apple would be content, but I can tell he was excited by all the “pretty” stuff too.
I’d been struggling with what to put in mine too – I have some things but couldn’t come up with the “filler” – never thought of beans!! Thank you 🙂
Such a great idea! Have a wonderful weekend!
That sensory bin in gorgeous!!
I just gave you an award on my blog. If you want to check it out, it’s here:

I made my first sensory tub totally inspired by this one!

Plus I babbled about how awesome all your sensory tub ideas are! I’m excited to do oceans.. my son loves looking at the colored rocks at the pet store.. what a good excuse to buy some that doesn’t involve a fish! lol 🙂
Thanks so much! 🙂
Love it! I made one for my little ones with those same heart gems and heart containers from Target. I added in some white pom poms. But yours is much cuter!
Great suggestions for what to use in the sensory tub. I can’t wait to do one of our own!
